Adrian woke up with Hadley around 6 this morning and she still had 101-degree fever. He then woke me up around 7:45 to say that he thinks we should take her to the urgent care clinic to be on the safe side. Here's what she looked like as we're waiting for the doctor:

Those eyes of hers...so sad! The doctor came in and checked her out. He said her oxygen levels were at 93% and that no one usually ever gets to 100% since we're at such a high altitude in Colorado. He listened to her lungs and there wasn't any fluid in them. All good signs! But it did bring back memories of doctors, and oxygen levels and other scary times. But so far so good with Hadley. He told us if she still has a fever on Monday, then we need to take her to our pediatrician. He was concerned about the blisters on her lips and mentioned Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. Weird. I think Katleyn had that once. So basically, she just has a really bad cold.
Gus can always tell when there's something going on with Hadley and he wants to be near her. So he took a nap with her on the sick couch.

I'm happy to report that as of 6:00 p.m. our time Hadley seems to be doing better. She still has a 101-degree fever, but she's up and around and playing. Hopefully she's on the mend.
Another update: Hadley picked out "The Sound of Music" to watch because we said no more "Annie" and "The Little Mermaid." So to perpetuate the gayness (Adrian's words) I made us take a picture of ourselves because we were all sort of matching today. Can you tell which one of us is not happy taking these pictures? HA!
